Apologies to ‘regular’ readers of this blog, who will have noticed that I’ve not exactly been active on here over the past year.
A friend recently asked me whether the blog is still going. The short answer is “yes”. But professional writers and editors like me sometimes get a wee bit busy with paid projects and, as a consequence, I’ve had to ease back on blogging these past few months. A recent bout of Covid didn’t help.

Plus, I come along once in a while and bring the tone down by writing about crime, justice and public policy challenges.
