I am an experienced journalist, ghostwriter and editor specialising in impactful literature and remarkable personal stories.
As an NCTJ-trained journalist since 1997, I have written for most UK national newspapers – including the The Guardian, The Observer, The Sun and The Sunday Mirror.
During my career, I have worked as a reporter, editor and investigations editor. But I’m most at home when listening to, and bringing to life, other people’s extraordinary memoirs or family histories – or chronicling the success of a ground-breaking organisation.
I work diligently to ensure that my clients’ books, pamphlets or reports are delivered in their words and with their audience in mind – all while assuming responsibility for planning structures and writing compelling, page-turning copy.
Clients can also make use of my extensive investigative skills, including open-source intelligence (OSINT) research, ‘people finding’ and advanced interview techniques.
As a ghostwriter, I have written for senior politicians, professional athletes, celebrities, business leaders, whistleblowers, charities, trade unions and think tanks. My specialisms include: personal stories, crime and law enforcement, politics and current affairs, sport and business.
In 2017-18, I wrote key sections of a non-fiction book about doping in sport. More recently, I was sole ghostwriter on an extraordinary memoir exposing organised crime and corruption within law enforcement. The book was published to widespread acclaim in 2021 and rates 4.8 out of 5 on Amazon.
During the first half of 2023, I edited a book on public policy for two senior politicians, and researched/wrote a report for a major UK trade union. I also write regular columns for New Thinking magazine and The MJ.
I am based in the UK but have worked for clients in Europe, the USA, India, southeast Asia and the Middle East (including the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar).
